Kerr black hole with a MAD disk: simulation movies

A GRMHD simulation of a Kerr black hole surrounded by a magnetically arrested (MAD) accretion disk, run with KHARMA.

Ray-tracing the same simulation with ipole gives polarized images. Here are the Stokes parameters over time:
